Introducing Our New Range of Colored and Pool Plaster at Putz-Technik

Development update, revised 26 October 2026. Putz-Technik is working on a wider range of coloured plaster and a plaster formulation for swimming pools. Neither product is released yet. This article describes work in progress, and nothing in it is a specification. Contact us for the current status before planning a project around either product.
Expanding Our Colored Plaster Options
We understand the demand for coloured plaster that can add style and personality to any space. That is why we are developing a broader selection of coloured plaster options. These will be available in a variety of shades to suit different tastes and project requirements. For larger or custom projects, we plan to offer plaster that can be ordered pre-coloured, saving time and ensuring consistency.
The aim is for the coloured range to match the adhesion and weather performance of our existing finishes. That will be confirmed by testing before release, and we will publish technical data at that point.

Developing a Specially Formulated Pool Plaster
Pools need a plaster that can withstand constant immersion and pool chemicals. We are trialling a formulation developed from our PT300 base coat. Testing is ongoing, and substrate compatibility, waterproofing performance and service life have not yet been established.
Until testing is complete we are not making performance claims for the pool plaster. We will publish the tested scope, suitable substrates and application instructions when the product is released.

What We Are Aiming For
Our development goals for the two products are:
Durability: Resistance to cracking, weathering and wear, to be confirmed by testing.
Versatility: Coloured plaster that can be supplied pre-coloured for large projects; the pool plaster’s substrate scope will be defined by testing.
Ease of Use: Our plasters are designed for smooth application, saving time and effort.
Aesthetic Appeal: The coloured plaster offers a range of attractive finishes to enhance any space.
Waterproofing: A pool plaster that performs reliably under immersion. The formulation is derived from PT300, but its waterproofing performance is still being tested.
Once released, we will state which applications each product is suitable for.
